Inspection, Certification & Calibrations

As part of the Health and Safety Employment Act 1992 it is the responsibility of the employer to take all steps to ensure PPE, Confined Space, Height Safety and Gas Detection equipment is certified up to date and recorded for use on site.

Safety equipment needs to be serviced every 6 months (gas detectors, tripods, winches, harnesses, lanyard, life lines etc) Annual servicing applies to ELSA escape units and other BA equipment.

Focus Safety can take care of all your Inspection, Certification and Calibration requirements, turn around for an inspection or calibration is usually just a couple of days. If you require your equipment certified urgently, just let one of our service team know and we will take steps to have this completed as soon as possible, sometimes even the same day.

All of our servicing records are held in our comprehensive data base. Certificates of certification will be issued with every item certified by our team.
